    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise to request for a Ministerial Statement from the Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports. I wish to request the Minister to explain the circumstances that led to Harambee Stars’ dismal performance in the recently concluded CECAFA Cup Tournament held in Dar es Salaam. In his Statement, I would like the Minister to address the following issues: First, what was the level of preparation by the team by way of participation in the tournament and has the Minister satisfied himself that the Kenya Football Federation (KFF) and the technical staff are adequately applying themselves to the development of soccer in the country, both at the national and club levels? Secondly, how much did the Government spend in preparing the team and sending them to Dar es Salaam, including the cost of air tickets, accommodation and allowances for the duration of the tournament? Thirdly, what was the cause of the poor performance by the team at the tournament? Fourth, what does the Minister intend to do in order to make sure that"
