    "content": "THEREFORE, your humble Petitioners pray that the National Assembly, through the Departmental Committee on Education, Research and Technology: (i) Engages the Ministry of Education to consider up-scaling Government capitation for co-curricular activities in primary schools from the Kshs76 currently given to, at least, Kshs150 per pupil, with a view to avail sufficient activity funds at school level for the 2017 co-curricular activities. Therefore, that is very urgent. (ii) Liaises with the Ministry of Education to initiate an audit of the co-curricular activities per pupil at school level with a view to recommending a reasonable capitation for co-curricular activities in subsequent sporting years. (iii)Recommends that the share of the said capitation for the sub-county, county and region be submitted directly to the relevant offices instead of going through the primary schools. (iv) Makes any other order that is deemed fit in the circumstances of the Petitioners. And your humble Petitioners will ever pray."
