    "content": "Thank you Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I would like to congratulate Sen. Sang for bringing this Petition to the Senate. Research has shown that the Talai community is the longest suffering community in Kenya. We can only compare their suffering to that of the Jews who suffered for many years. Research has shown that during the suffering of the Talai Community, 900 people died and they also lost their leader at that time. We would appreciate if the Government of today could also raise its voice and address some of these injustices. We should appreciate the fact that they are the people who fought for the freedom and independence of this country."
