Senators, before I proceed to the next order I wish to recognise the presence of visiting Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) students from Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology (JKUAT), with their team leader, Dr. Susan Were, Chairperson of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Supplies at the university. They are seated in the Speaker’s Gallery. In our usual tradition of receiving and welcoming visitors to Parliament, I extend a warm welcome to them. On behalf of the Senate and on my own behalf, I wish them a fruitful visit."
