    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I also wish to rise in support of the Bill and congratulate Hon. Nassir for bringing this amendment to Parliament. At the outset, I must thank the Government for its efforts to increase the number of police officers serving in our country so that the international ratios are achieved. You will realise that the work done by the police is so enormous that the fewer the number we have in society the more difficult it is for our police officers to give us the kind of service that we require.
