    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me the opportunity to contribute to this important Bill. May I start by thanking the honourable Member who has brought this Bill. The need for compensation for loss of life and injury for police officers is long overdue and must and should have been part of the general welfare of police officers such as the professional growth, level of education and remuneration, particularly allowances for those who work in extremely difficult areas and circumstances. We expect people who work in such areas to really have good equipment, particularly housing."
