Members, pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order No.41, I wish to convey to the House a Message received from the Senate on Friday, 21st April 2017 regarding the Senate’s approval of the Revised Procedure and Rules for Election of Members to the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA). The Message states in part: “On Thursday, 6th April 2017, the Senate adopted the Report of the Select Committee on the Review of the Procedure and Rules for the Election of Members to the EALA and approved the revised procedure and rules thereof”"
