    "content": "I hope this one will now behave. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity to make my contribution to the Report of the PAC to this House. It is a special Report on the issue of NYS. I also sit in this Committee as a Member and I want to remind this House and the people of Kenya that this issue came out as a result of public outcry and concerns that were raised regarding embezzlement of funds that took place in NYS under the Ministry of Devolution. As a Committee, we were seized of this matter. We invited witnesses. I think this is one of those investigations that have been conducted in this House where a record number of witnesses have been invited. Therefore, what we are discussing here is not new to the people of Kenya. It is basically what the people of Kenya saw the Committee discuss as we went through the interrogation. I have a few comments to make. One, there has been this talk about us, as a Committee, delaying with this Report. It should be understood that this was not an ordinary investigation. This is an investigation that had been conducted previously by even State agencies like the CID The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
