If they relied on impact assessment, can the Ministry undertake to do a post impact assessment to assess the dangers and conditions of these quarries, because they are all over? I am even aware that the Ministry has issued directives that those quarries along the road should be closed, yet the Assistant Minister does not seem to understand or is even aware of this. When will they carry out a post impact assessment so that Kenyans may be aware that the Ministry is doing what it ought to do?"
