Temporary Deputy Chairman, I request my Vice-Chair to drop this amendment because as it is in the Bill now, we are giving that advantage to all hospitals regardless of whether they are public or private. We are actually saying: ―With a minimum bed capacity of 50.‖ We need to encourage the private sector to play a bigger role in the health sector because when you say 200 beds and above, you are discouraging very many small investors who can actually contribute to the health sector in this country. So, I request my Vice-Chair to reconsider this amendment and leave it the way it is in the Bill, which is actually 50 per cent. It is not mentioning whether the hospital is public or private."
