"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, thank you for giving me this chance. I would like to make my comments in regards to the Petition by the Governor of Nairobi County, Dr. Evans Odhiambo Kidero, concerning the debt owed to Nairobi County by the national Government. This morning, I happened to have tuned to one of the local FM stations and the guest being interviewed was one Jonathan Mueke, the Deputy Governor of Nairobi County. During question time, when I asked him why Nairobi was dirtier than it was when they took over, he told me to show up in the Senate this afternoon because there would be a petition that would give me the answers. I was looking forward to a petition that would give further details about the incompetence in Nairobi County Government only to be told that there is some debt owed to the County by the national Government. I do not know how that correlates but I will be looking forward to peruse through and get deep into the details. I will keenly want to know what goes into that case."
