"content": "Hon. Members, Standing Order No.41 relating to Messages requires the Speaker to expeditiously report to the House any message received from the Senate. In this regard, I wish to convey that today, Tuesday, 30th May 2017; I received a Message from the Senate regarding the Senate’s approval of the Report of the Joint Select Parliamentary Committee on Election of Members of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA). The Message states as follows: “The Senate, on Thursday, 25th May 2017, debated and adopted the Report of the Joint Select Parliamentary Committee on the election of Members to EALA without amendments.”"
