    "content": "I urge the House to support this Bill. I thank the principals from both sides of the House for supporting it. I urge them to continue supporting this position. Some of the challenges that we are likely to be faced with include high costs and a larger House in terms of numbers. However, we just have to be ready to pay a certain price. We have employed affirmative action in certain areas, for example, in the education sector. The girl-child has been given consideration and certain allowances are given to her in terms of meeting examination thresholds. Even in various recruitment exercises, we have employed affirmative action. We should be prepared to pay a price that will ensure that we give equal opportunities to both genders.
