    "content": "problems with cultural behaviour and beliefs which have hampered the development of the gender issues in various parts of the country. I am sure if enough time is given for awareness, it will be easier to implement this than having to give positions to people when they are not prepared. Either way, the period which has been given is appropriate because it will create opportunities for everyone in the country. We have on several occasions come to the realisation that in some places like schools, the boy-child is being affected by too much talk about the girls. I hope that when we talk about the fact that the enactment of this Bill shall occasion additional expenditure of public funds, I am sure there will be more awareness created all over the country to ensure that everybody is at peace or at ease with it."
