Speaker, pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order No.44 (2) (a), on behalf of the House Business Committee (HBC), I rise to give a Statement regarding the business appearing before the House for the week beginning Tuesday, 13th June 2017. On Tuesday, the House will continue with the Second Reading of the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) (No.6) Bill of 2015), the National Cohesion and Integration (Amendment) Bill, 2017, should they not be concluded today. Prioritised in the same week for the Committee of the whole House include: (i) the Nairobi International Financial Centre Bill, 2016; (ii) the President‘s Award Bill, 2017; (iii) the Legal Metrology Bill, 2017; and, (iv) the Kenya Trade Remedies Bill, 2017."
