    "content": "I must say that this is probably the last Motion that the Budget and Appropriations Committee will have in this particular Parliament. Earlier, I had thought that the Budget and Appropriations Committee was being run through dictatorship. I realised later that I had no option but to try and steer through very difficult waters. There were times that, probably, democracy did not really meet the challenges that the Budget and Appropriations Committee had. So, I take this opportunity to thank my Chair and the Budget and Appropriations Committee. It has done a tremendous job. Even yesterday, there was request by one Committee to bring in certain issues and the Chair said we will have to find some time to handle it, rather than take the time of Parliament. It was agreed that we would forgo our lunch and do it at one O’clock. That is what is required and that is what has brought the Budget and Appropriations Committee to where it is. I am very pleased that I had the opportunity of being part and parcel of this particular Committee."
