Members have suggested that in the next Parliament, we should have particular Members vetted so that they can access details of NIS accounts, just like it is done in the parliaments of USA, UK, Israel and other countries. That is the only way we can have functional security intelligence units. I urge my good friend, whom I respect so much, to withdraw the assertion that the accounts of NIS are not audited and accept the reality of the dynamics of state security not only in Kenya, but in the whole world."
