    "content": "When it comes to appointment of members of Boards of Directors in this country, the sad reality is that such appointments are seen as a form of reward for political loyalty. Once they are viewed that way, instead of being viewed as areas where we need expertise that would help to steer state corporations to achieve their objectives, we have problems being witnessed. State corporations in this country have been described as ‘cash cows’ from which people earn a living, earn some extra cash or enjoy after retirement from public service. This must be avoided. We know that in many instances, State corporations have been used as conduits.
