Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 13 of the Bill be amended by - (a) deleting the word ―consultations‖ appearing immediately before the words ―with the Cabinet Secretary‖ and substituting therefor the word ―consultation‖; (b) deleting the words ―Cabinet Secretary‖ and substituting therefor the words ―Salaries and Remuneration Commission‖. This is to correct one typographical error and also include the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) in the task of determining the salaries and allowances for the Chairperson and members of the Board. It is the mandate of the SRC."
