Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 27 of the Bill be amended– (a) in sub-clause (1) by inserting the words ―or she‖ immediately after the word ―he‖; (b) in sub-clause (4)– (i) by inserting the words ―or her‖ immediately after the word ―his‖; and (ii) by inserting the word ―a‖ immediately before the word ―denomination‖; (c) in sub-clause (9)– (i) by inserting the words ―,the inspector‖ immediately after the word ―her‖; and (ii) by inserting the word ―a‖ immediately before the word ―fees‖. This is to include reference to all genders and correct typographical errors. I ask the gender that is here to support this because we are trying to be gender sensitive."
