Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 37 of the Bill be amended– (a) in sub-clause (1)– (i) by inserting the word ―a‖ immediately before the word ―quantity‖ in the opening statement; (ii) by inserting the words ―or her‖ immediately after the word ―his‖ appearing in paragraph (a); (iii)by inserting the words ―or her‖ immediately after the word ―his‖ appearing in paragraph (b); and, (iv) by inserting the word ―a‖ immediately before the word ―quantity‖ appearing in paragraph (b); (b) in sub-clause (2) – (i) by inserting the words ―or her‖ immediately after the word ―his‖ wherever it appears; and (ii) by deleting the words ―sell or agree‖ appearing in paragraph (c) and substituting therefor the words ―sells or agrees‖. This is meant to correct the grammatical errors and include reference to all genders."
