Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 55 of the Bill be amended - (a) in sub-clause (2) – (i) by inserting the word ―any‖ immediately before the words ―Deputy Director‖; and, (ii) by deleting the words ―to any‖ appearing immediately before the words ―Assistant Director‖. (b) in sub-clause (6) – (i) by inserting the words ―Weights and Measures‖ immediately before the words ―Act repealed‖; (ii) by deleting the expression ―67‖ and substituting therefor the expression ―68‖. This is just to insert missing words, correct grammatical and cross-referencing errors."
