Where there is a vacancy in the Board, the appointing authority shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and within three months of such vacancy, appoint another person to fill the vacancy for the remaining period of the term of office of the person in whose place he or she was appointed. (2D). Trustees and committee members shall serve as volunteers to the President’s Award-Kenya and shall not be entitled to remuneration of any kind but shall be entitled to be reimbursed for expenses incurred in the conduct of the business of the President’s Award-Kenya."
