Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Standing Order 28 be amended in paragraph (3) by deleting the words “the Leader of the Majority Party or the Leader of the Minority Party or any other member of the House Business Committee shall move a motion of adjournment which shall be debated for not more than three hours after which the House” appearing immediately after the word “Calendar” and substituting therefor the words “the Speaker shall notify Members of the same, and at the appointed time, the Assembly shall adjourn without question put”."
