"content": "I thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. Mine is the happy task of thanking the Hon. Members for very fruitful and helpful suggestions. Sometimes I wish the Senate would find the time to go through the HANSARD and find out what is being said here about this process. I think that has one of the key points that have been raised time and again. We are not reacting. We just are stating the facts as we see them. I really do think that when we come back, maybe through the socio-economic audit, we need to give powers to one House, so that they can have the final say. The buck needs to stop somewhere. The other thing that we need to appreciate, as we said earlier, is that the envelope is small. We imagine that the envelope is big. It is not. So, when the World Bank tells us that the growth of our economy this year would not be 5.6 per cent as we imagined, but rather 5.3 per cent, frankly, I am not surprised. So, we need to come back and look The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor."
