    "content": "I am happy because the owner of this Bill has benchmarked in other countries. Other countries have already initiated similar Bills. This is protecting their industries. I believe the countries that have been quoted, like South Africa and India, are model countries we need to borrow from. There are small issues which are mentioned that need to be looked into, so that our people can enjoy some benefits, especially that of sugar. I can afford to buy sugar at a cost of Kshs210 per kilogramme, but a villager is forced to not take tea with sugar, simply because we are protecting industries which are currently very inefficient. We need to re-look at that issue, so that we do not protect local industries at the expense of the majority of Kenyans."
