"content": "Police officers have been shooting themselves, committing suicide, shooting their colleagues or other Kenyans in cold blood in the recent past. We need to look at their mental status. What makes an officer decide to shoot himself dead? What makes an officer decide to shoot his colleague dead? It must be something that is very deep rooted. So, in terms of treatment and injury, how do we stop police officers from this type of trauma that makes them kill themselves or their colleagues? Those are injuries in the nature of work that also needs to be addressed. That will need psychoanalysts and mental practitioners to look at the type of injuries that police officers can also suffer as they work.
