    "content": "It is very important for Members to note this – the justification is that the amendment seeks to provide for the process of discharge of a member from a committee by confining the matter to a political party after according the member an opportunity to be heard. In the past, Members were just being removed from a committee without being given an opportunity to be heard. However, this time round, we are amending the Standing Orders to give Members an opportunity to do that."
