The matter of the delimitation of constituency boundaries is of critical constitutional significance. The Chair is aware that the matter is presently before the courts and, indeed, on 16th November, 2010 documents evidencing such position in one of the courts were tabled in the House by the hon. Member for Mutitu. The Chair is also aware that owing to the constitutional significance of the matter, hon. Members held a Speaker’s Kamukunji on Wednesday, 24th November, 2010 to deliberate and seek consensus on the same."
