Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Standing Orders be amended by deleting Standing Order 239 and substituting therefor the following new Standing Order— “MOVING INTO COMMITTEE OF SUPPLY 239. On an Order of the Day for Committee of Supply being read, the Chairperson of the Budget and Appropriations Committee or a Member designated by the Committee shall move the motion “The House do approve the Report of the Budget and Appropriations Committee on the Budget Estimates for the financial year…….and the Estimates of Expenditure from the Equalisation Fund and the allocations to the respective votes and programmes as contained in the Schedule” with necessary modifications, where applicable.”"
