Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Standing Orders be amended by deleting Standing Order 240 and substituting therefor the following new Standing Order— CONSIDERATION OF ESTIMATES IN THE COMMITTEE OF SUPPLY 240. (1) The report of the Budget and Appropriations Committee on the Budget Estimates and the Estimates of Expenditure from the Equalisation Fund shall be considered in the Committee of Supply upon a motion that “The House do approve the Report of the Budget and Appropriations Committee on the Budget Estimates for the financial year…….and the Estimates of Expenditure from the Equalisation Fund and the allocations to the respective votes and programmes as contained in the Schedule” with necessary modifications, where applicable. (2) The Chairperson shall propose a question on each of the Votes or programmes. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
