Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Standing Order 242 be amended— (a) in paragraph (2) by deleting the words “a day before 26th June” appearing immediately after the words “down on” and substituting therefor the words “or any day before 30th June.” (b) by deleting paragraph (3). The justification is that the amendment seeks to create clarity on the deadline for dealing with votes on account by moving it on a day before 26th June to any other day before 30th June."
