Deputy Chairman, this is a very important amendment because at the beginning of this financial year, the Equalisation Fund has come to operation especially in the marginalised counties. So, this Committee will serve a good purpose because there is a lot of money being disbursed to the counties. In the recent past, we have realised that Ministries are supervising or rather allocating the money. It is necessary for those Funds to be supervised, audited and scrutinised by this House. This particular amendment has come at the right time. I support the amendment."
