Deputy Speaker, apart from making those facilities available at the county- level, it is extremely important to note that we have very few people who are trained on how to deal with cancer and renal diseases. I am informed that in this country, we have only four oncologists. Those are extremely few. Therefore, the Cabinet Secretary for Health must put in place mechanisms to ensure that training of oncologists and radiographers is fast-tracked because, as much as we may have those facilities in all the counties, we do not have the qualified personnel to deal with those very dangerous emerging trends."
