"content": "Hon. Speaker, Sir, I wish to request for a Statement from the Chairman of the Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs. Article 2(5) of the Constitution is very clear. In fact, it provides that “All general rules of international law shall form part of the law of Kenya”. Kenya is a signatory to the Rome Statute. It has gone further and domesticated the Rome Statute by enacting The International Crimes Act. I would like the Chairman to clarify the following issues in view of the recent developments:"
