We must safeguard public trust by conducting ourselves with integrity and in a manner that brings honour and dignity to the nation. The Constitution, the Public Officers Ethics Act, the Leadership and Integrity Act and the Parliamentary Powers and Privileges Act of 2017 will all reinforce the essential value of integrity, a most valuable asset in public service. Of great importance, Hon. Members is the need to observe that the Parliamentary Powers and Privileges Act, which was recently enacted and prescribes a code of conduct for Members of The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
