    "content": "A lot has been said about the youth agenda and I think the Jubilee Government has a unique opportunity to make the youth empowerment a reality sooner than later. As we know, during campaigns, some of us faced so many questions. I remember I was addressing a group of pastors down in Malindi and they asked me one question which was: “Young man, what are you going to do about this culture of dependency among the youth on handouts?” I know I must have said a couple of things to get away with the situation there. However, I think for us to focus on the National Youth Council and the youth agenda is one of the best ways to help our youth out there. They have ideas. They are willing to work. I know some of them are very poor in terms of financial capacity but they have ideas to take themselves and this country forward. If we are dreaming as a country to talk about double digit growth and maintaining that going forward, it is the youth of this country who will do that for us.
