"content": "ESTABLISHMENT OF TWO WATER SERVICE BOARDS IN NORTH RIFT THAT, aware that the power to establish Water Service Boards vests in the Minister for Water and Irrigation; concerned that the entire North Rift, inhabited by millions of people residing in urban centers such as Eldoret Municipality and semi-urban and rural areas is currently served by a single Water Board; aware of the need to have efficient and effective water services delivery and management all over the Country; this House urges the Government to establish two Water Service Boards in the North Rift in order to take services closer to the people."
