    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to ask the Minister for Higher Education, Science & Technology the following Question by Private Notice. (a) Could the Minister list all the engineering courses currently offered by Egerton University whose graduates are not eligible for registration by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB), provide a list of all the graduates of the respective courses and explain why the Joint Admissions Board (JAB) continues to admit students to those courses? (b) What steps, including inter-ministerial consultations, is the Government taking to ensure that the JAB admits students only to engineering courses whose graduates are eligible for registration by the ERB? (c) What action is the Minister taking to ensure that ERB registers the graduates of the said courses, particularly the Bachelor of Industrial Engineering (BIT), to enable them qualify for engineering jobs, considering that registration with ERB is a requirement for employment?"
