    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. My name is Abdi Omar Shurie, Member of Parliament for Balambala. First of all, I would like to thank the Almighty God for giving us the opportunity to serve in this House. I also wish to appreciate the good people of Balambala for electing me as their representative in this House. Hon. Deputy Speaker, I would also like to congratulate my colleagues for their victories. On the Presidential Speech, I applaud His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta for preaching peace since the outcome of the Supreme Court. He has been consistent on peace. I think it is very important because without peace, we cannot have a nation or a country. I would have wished the President would have added the issue of drought which my area is experiencing to his Speech. I appreciate my colleagues from northern Kenya for talking about the drought that affects all of us. I hope State organs will take that matter seriously and support us. Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker."
