Let me start by thanking God because of his great mercies and grace to bring me back to this august House for a second time. I also congratulate you and the Deputy Speaker for being re-elected which is a vote of confidence by the Members of this House. I am very grateful to the great people of Kajiado East who found it fit to return me back to the august House for a second time. I am grateful. I thank all of them in Kajiado East. We have people of all walks of life. I was elected by people across the board and across the religious divide, muslims and Christians. I was elected by all ethnic communities of this nation because they are all in Kajiado East. I was also elected by the indigenous community of the Maasai people. I am very grateful."
