    "content": "I would like to join my colleagues in congratulating His Excellency the President for a short, well thought-out and focused Speech that he delivered on Tuesday, 12th September 2017 in this House. I would like to commend the President for assuring Kenyans that there is no vacuum in the presidency as is outlined in our Constitution. He said that he is in charge and in control until another President is sworn in on a day after 17th October 2017. We are in an election period and with this assurance, Kenyans will exercise their will on October 17th and give us their choice of a president to steer this country ahead. Secondly, I would like to commend the President for accepting the Supreme Court ruling. This is going to ensure Kenyans are at peace and are united as they prepare to carry out the repeat presidential election on 17th October. Once more, I thank the people of Mbooni Constituency for electing me to this House. Thank you, Hon. Speaker."
