"content": "presidency is a symbol of national unity. Nobody has any right to demean that office of the presidency. Hon. Babu Owino the Member for Embakasi East used unpalatable language. As a country, we ought to be fostering unity. We need to speak in one voice. We are all brothers of the same father called Kenya and we need to speak in one voice. On the repeat Presidential election that is to be held on 26th October 2017, we believe we have the numbers to win it and that is beyond question. What we are concerned about is that our brethren do not want to take part in this election. They keep on shifting goal posts. Today we are told one thing, and tomorrow another thing. Those are only excuses for not taking part in the election. The 60 days are specified in the Constitution. The repeat election ought to be held within 60 days following the court ruling. Even if it were to be held after the 60 days window, Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta will still remain the President. There will be no power vacuum in Kenya. I believe that on 26th October, we shall triumph. We have no reason to doubt."
