    "content": "It is high time we shifted our attention from the election to issues which our constituents are facing. Our role is not only legislation and oversight but also solving serious problems facing our constituents. I believe the Steering Committee tasked with coming up with the Supplementary Budget will look into this considering the high vulnerability level of counties in northern Kenya. They should set aside funds to carry out immediate intervention for the drought stricken population. I am also aware that most Ministries in the national Government are not undertaking the necessary interventions and the few non-state actors conducting intervention are, of course, very low, un-coordinated, sparsely distributed and most affected parts have not been reached up to date."
