    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I stand to second this Motion. It is a very critical and important time in the history of our country. Our major function, as the Senate, being to legislate for this country, I believe that this Motion is timely so that we can get the country back to stability. We have gone through elections and the Supreme Court nullified the presidential election results. As we move forward expecting to do our civic duty on 26th October, 2017, it is important that, as the Senate, we legislate on whatever gaps the Supreme Court pointed out or may exist so that as the elections are held on 26th October, 2017 the law is in conformity.
