    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Chairman. I rise to support this amendment primarily on the grounds that the attempt by the Joint Parliamentary Select Committee is so that we do not have a gap at any point in the IEBC. From what the intransigents are saying, in our electoral process, there could easily be an attempt for both the Chair and the Vice-Chair to even decide to stay away. As legislators, we want to ensure that there is no gap in IEBC at any point in time."
