    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I also take this chance to support this Report. At the outset, I want to thank the Committee because they had to work under very strenuous circumstances. I know they worked for long hours. They even had the time to invite the public to submit their views as is required by the Constitution. This Report for the first Supplementary Estimates is critical noting that this is an election year. Not only is it an election year but also very turbulent in terms of political climate and setup. The Committee has noted clearly that the revenue collection has definitely dipped. The effect on the economy has been felt from every sector. As we speak, that uncertainty is still there. I know there are people who are already on the streets. So, it does not get better. It has been necessitated. It is therefore critical that we look at what is needed to be done, so that Government services are accessed."
