    "content": "It is the right Bill and we want to ask Kenyans to prepare themselves for the repeat presidential elections come 26th. For those who are seeking to demonstrate, which is also provided for in the Constitution, let them do their demonstrations peacefully. Let them stop violence and destruction of property. As we speak, there is no vacuum in the leadership of this country. President Uhuru is still the commander-in-chief of the Defence Forces. He is still the president of Kenya. So we should not be gagged as Members. This is the Legislature. We have the right to legislate any law; like we do not direct the Judiciary on what to do. We do not expect anybody to tell this House what to do and what not to do. I want to support this Bill. I have amendments. When we get to the committee stage of this Bill, we encourage Members to bring amendments so that we make laws for posterity and for the prosperity of this country.
