    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this chance. Let me thank all the Members that have contributed to this important Motion. Although I know it is coming at a time when matters national are taking centre stage, there is no doubt in my mind that this Protocol is long overdue. It is about time we ratified it as Parliament according to the Constitution and more importantly, so that we can give Kenya a good chance to participate meaningfully and effectively in the EAC and ensure that Kenyans enjoy the privileges that go with being members of this great Community."
