I remember very well when we were in Naivasha during the retreat, the Cabinet Secretary (CS), Treasury, stated very clearly that there is no reason as to why we should have pending bills in counties because money is disbursed as per the approval of the senate. So, I think it is high time that the Senate Majority Leader takes the business of this House seriously. What shocks me is that there are certain things that he considered to be very important – which are not – including amending laws which ought not to be amended when people are suffering in counties.
